Zazie Olivia Beetz was born Berlin in the year 1991. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker who immigrated to the United States following the fall of Berlin Wall. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Following her graduation from LaGuardia, Beetz went on to complete her studies in French at Skidmore College. The auditions began immediately following graduation from the college. In Atlanta, she landed the part of Van. She was born in Berlin to the parents of a German father and an African-American mother, Beetz was raised on the streets of New York speaking both German and English at home. Zazie started appearing on community and local stages in her early years. In grade school she started acting, and became a professional actor. The actress's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dance abilities definitely paid off. It was in 2010 that the actor and dancer scored her first major role, when Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya was just 11 at the time, while in a trip for the family when she stumbled upon the meat processing facility.
