Zazie Beetz was born in 1991 was born in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who immigrated to America in the year 1990. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible to see all the animals being stuffed and waiting to be killed. "I could not believe that was how I had taken my meat!" She's been eating a mostly vegan diet since then.
