Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic event. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was six years old. Comaneci participated for the first time in the 1969 national junior championships. She finished 13th. In the following year, she won the title of champion. At her first international event, which was an preolympics junior event for nations in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she won crowned all-around Junior Champion. In her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four golds and a silver. In 1976, she was the world's first woman to use a backwards-double salto for a dismount off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the entertainment business began during her teens when she started performing as a figure skater along with her sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her journey into the entertainment business as a teenager. She started her career performing figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment programs Ice Capades. They featured ice skating shows that included theatrical performances.
